Maria holds one of several photo albums documenting her son's illness, recovery and trip to Disney World.

Once Alejandro recovered from his cancer treatment, the family was flown to Orlando, Florida by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Maria treasures these memories and worries for her son's future care if she is unable to be with him or, worse, if she has to take him home to resource-poor Puebla, Mexico.
